Listen music in silent mode

Hi! I´m using the manilla DXHK1/M2D04 rom and I´d like to know if is out there any way to listen to music using the earphones in silent or vibration mode. I used to study listening to music with my other phones but now I can´t. When you turn down the speaker volumen it also turn down the earphones volumen.

Am I the onlyone with this problem?

I guess you can just put the ring volume to 0 ?
