I'm sorry I cannot help but I am here to post my plea as well.

I am in the United States and have just purchased an Omnia i910. I love it so far but would like to get some of the advanced programs that have been written for it. I am NOT a programmer at all but would contribute towards freeware, or perhaps purchase software for sale.

I just have no idea where to start (or rather, end) and there are so many different threads/programs with technical information that means zilch to me.

Help in pointing me to a summary page of "the best of the solutions" would be much appreciated. Anything I buy needs to be in simple format for me to download and install.

Thank you in advance. My email is [email protected], but I'll also check back here.

PS: I should add that I have Verizon service in US. Things I'd like that I know of thus far: unlocking GPS so that Google maps works; making it so that during calls you don't have to hit the dpad button to use special keys - or at least you only have to hit it once (very frustrating when checking voicemails); how to add in extra keys on a "wait until you release them basis" for codes for voicemail services (as opposed to just entering in p for pauses, without knowing how long it will take for other end to answer); and finally, anything to do to help battery life. I have the standard battery that came with it and it doesn't even last a full day. Can anyone recommend a good extended battery for this phone, and how much thicker does it make the phone? THANKS
