Novice here. Sorry. I downloaded some tv episodes on itunes and have loaded them onto my omnia i910. They are .m4v files and the phone says it cannot play that file type. I downloaded OJOsoft video converter to my computer to convert them to something the phone can read. My questions are?

OJOsoft says it is an unsupported file type and it cannot convert it. What am I doing wrong here?

What file type do I convert it to once I figure out how to convert it? .mp4? what file types does the i910 play?

I'm new to itunes too, is there an easier way to get tv episodes and movies onto this phone than download from itunes, save to computer, convert to whatever readable file the omnia can read, transfer to my storage on omnia?

Thanks for the help, guys.

Your Omnia supports following video files:

- 3GPP

- WMV

- H.263

- H.264

- MPG4

- AVI

I use for converting video files "Super", it's for free and easy to use. But there are alot of good coverters out there. Here you can find more.

Thanks so much. I looked "there". I found three different converters that wouldn't convert it. I'll try Super.

Why do people feel the need to be...meh nevermind.

if you buy coreplayer this will allow you to play them

Nothing will allow you to watch itunes downloads on your omnia, AFAIK. Video downloads from itunes are all protected by itunes DRM, some music isn't (i.e. itunes plus). I don't think super can convert them either.

isn't coreplayer supposed to support .flv format? I downloaded coreplayer to play some videos in .flv and it was able to play the audio from it but it said the video codec was unsupported or something.

So what's the deal?

Does coreplayer convert only flv. files or does it do .m4v files also?

What about super? Does it support both formats?
