Guest sector Posted February 14, 2009 Report Share Posted February 14, 2009 I want to remove old pocket Internet explorer and install new ie6.latest pie.cab installed but old only remaining(after restart)During rom cooking I removed old pie folders from SYS folders and add new folders of pie 6.after installation of new rom pie mixed with old and new.flash videos not working and the screen says loading.so I want to remove old pie from rom.what are the files to be removed and where it is situated.new pie also not good.the option of zoom out flash video not playing.it plays in full screen mode and the size is too bigger than the screen.this way opera is best.second problem if you download some files thro pie6 you cant return to browser page till the download complete.we have to wait for it.kindly add task for removing ie6 in syakar.thank you. it needs also the latest or one of the latest winmo6.5 sys/xip to be ported on Omnia, as far as i know. i havent tried to replace it though, there are some OEM in xda for pie6. take care Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In fact for this rom, I've read all the xml and modify manually all the datas, so sometimes I found other files and keys that were not in the xml. I'm working on new xml more complete for the IA1. Lastnikita : pimg is the reader for pictures and video. I prefer Xn View. WM6 seams to launch this app while connecting to a pc, so while removing this app an error occurs. By creating my own pimg.exe, no more error occurs ... I don't know if I'm very clear ... I will test this solution for WMP, because I prefer TCPMP. And yes I know forum.samsungplayeraddict.com, why ? It's very helpfull to understand how it works. And maybe some files are differents from french rom to english rom, that's why sztupy return files not found ... If it creates a .rgu file in the package, delete it, just checked, mine has .rgu, so dont delete it...
