characters drop in sms

hi!! i have a question... why when i type an sms and i start from 160ch available if i write ° << or ì or many other symbols the available characters drop to 70(top says 1/70 instead of 1/160)! u experincing this??? it's weird

It's because you've selected "Use Unicode when necessary" in the options. Disable this and you won't have any further problems.
