Can i get an official english ROM?

Hi guys I am new to this forum and to windows mobile devices. I will be recieving the samsung omnia in 4 days but its most likely going to come with German OS. I read that I need to flash my ROM to change the language. I found some unofficial modyfied english ROMs but I dont really like the visual changes they make and I want to keep the warranty :rolleyes: My question is, Can I download and flash my omnia with an official english ROM or is it not availible? Thx a lot

you can update to MSHJ1 THIS IS THE UK ROM OFFICIAL YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE REGISTRY VALUES TO DO THIS IF YOU NEED HELP LET ME KNOW

Secany's ROMs are mostly official (they seem to be the service ROMs wrapped in an easy to use installer). If you don't like them you can download the official ROM's from samsung's homepage, but they only work if your country ID (the first two characters of the ROM's version number) is the same. If it is not, you'll have to use some hacking. Read this topic for more info
