How can I make it ring for longer

My Omnia doesn't seem to ring for very long and I can't find the option to make it longer. I assume it is, more correctly, the time before it redirects to voicemail but I can't find the option.

Probably something stupid, but it's beating me!

Thanks

AFAIK voicmail depends on your phone provider not your phone.

I had the same problem and the phone would go to voicemail before I heard it ringing half the time

I got this answer from T Mobile, don't know if it works with others, but it increases the ring time to about 20-25 seconds

key in **61*447945421437 from the dialler

Hope this helps

Cool, thanks. I have done some research and found that the code is **61*{voicemail number}**XX# then send.

The XX is the time you want it to ring but must be a multiple of 5 and a maximum of 30 seconds. To find your voicemail number type *#104# and send.

Go to settings/phone/services (tab at the bottom)/call forwarding and get settings. Settings will be read from network and displayed. There is then a drop down box where you can alter the times before calls are forwarded to voicemail.

Mine was set to 15 seconds and I've altered it to 30 seconds via this method, the new settings are then sent to the network and hey presto - phone rings for 30 seconds before calls switched to voicemail.
