www.samsungmobile.com not recognise my rom?

Hi,

My omnia runs:

PDA: i900XXHH1/BVHH1

Phone: i900BVHH1

Firstly, how old is this ROM? I'm pretty noob at this sort of stuff so need to be told! And secondly, are there many known problems with it? I seem to have a few battery issues and lag/freeze/sleep problems.

So, i want to update my omnia, I go to www.samsungmobile.com/support/omnia/index.jsp , enter UK as my location and type BVHH1 as my version, but it says:

The version you entered is incorrect.

Please check your Omnia version and try again.

Although the version I'm entering is correct! Whats going wrong? Do I need to change the country settings or something?

Sorry for noobish questions - but hey...cheers in advance.

hey i had the same problem but i recognized that i was entering uk and my phone i actually got it from thailand so its asian(malaysian,philipinis,singapore,thailand) version so i choosed malaysian instead of uk and it took to my phone actual region page... so u gotta make sure that ur phone is from the place that it got bought because the uk phones got special alphabetics in the mobile version...

so according to the list BV= BV Orange, Switzerland so u have to choose that region when ur choosing...

but the samsung page doesnt give u switzerland..and it was the same problem with me when my phone was from thailand and there was in the menu philipinos and malayisa and singapore.. but i found that thailand is in the same category of malaysia.

so since there is russia,italy,spain,neatherland,uk for europe in the menu i suggest that u try with neatherland and spain and italy and see if both have the same file size and if so then thats the one...
