What would you like to see added / changed / removed / improved / updated (etc. etc.) on MoDaCo (and the whole MoDaCo.network) in 2009?

Have your say!

Though I used to love the Windows Mobile Only format of Modaco...the emergence of alternate devices has changed that landscape a bit. I still love WM tho it's not my device of choice these days (currently an iPhone user). With my change in taste of devices....my news reading has changed. I want to read about all devices at once.

I would love to see a more traditional website front end news section of Modaco. The forum look is a bit dated for that area. Something stylish and cool and I wouldnt even mind appropriate ads all down the side of the page.

That said, merged news would be great for all Smartphones: WinMo, Android, iPhone...even Mobiholics devices.....with the option to filter by just my/your device of interest.

That's my two cents! :)

I agree, a proper news page would be nice, with the ability to toggle which news you're seeing.

As a non designer, i've struggled with how to reformat the news page to be less forumy! Shouldn't really be that hard!

Just a little thing, but in the main forum list I'd like to see the sub-forums listed one per line.

At present with them all in a row, it's sometimes hard to find which one you're looking for as they all wrap at different places. It's made worse when moving from home to work PC's as the screen/window widths may not be the same, so things are in different places. The HTC section is probably the best (worst?) example of what I mean.

Anyway, not a big issue. Just thought I'd throw it in.

Merry Christmas

Good feedback, the problem is it'd make the index huge.

How about if the forums relevant to you could be 'pinned' at the top?

I've sworn off of HTC for two simple reasons:

1) The software sucks. The software delivered with my Qtek S200 was pre-alpha quality. The HTC update that I installed was alpha quality. That was the last update made available, so I looked around on the internet to find something better. I found it and installed it, and now I have beta-quality software. I can no longer connect to my bluetooth GPS receiver. Actually, I did manage to connect to it just once, in about 50 attempts.

2) Even worse than not providing updates to fix horrendous bugs, HTC purposely makes it difficult to install updates from anyone else. It took me days of research to break the locks and install an update, and I had to assume the risk of bricking my device.

Tell me when you've fixed these problems. Until then, I'm not interested.
