Accelerometer problem

When I put the OMNIA in landscape orientation the screen adjusts but after a few seconds it goes back to portrait.

In *#0*# test X axis values keep increasing, even with the phone standing on a table.

ROM version is DXHJ1, tried hardware reset.

Is it a hardware problem or is there a way to fix it?
