USA 3G On Touch HD?

I believe this turned out to be from an early version of the HD manual, and was subsequently removed...(no US 3G on the HD i'm afraid!)

Hummm... Ok i saw the date of the article posted above and it was 3 days ago so i thought maybe it had just came out. Is the hardware there for it though?

Paul how was edge on the HD vs edge one the Omnia? Any speed differnce?

Is it worth selling the omnia for it....

u might wanna look into the X1, its got tri-band 3G

i dont really like the x1. i just figured ether the articals are true or i stay stuck on edge with a better than the omnia phone. Unless if we can unlock the us 3g on the omnia soon. A 3.8 inch screen sounds nice.

that is true, tempting.... but u dont get 8 or 16 GB internal storage space though. and its much much more expensive than Omnia and HD.....800 bucks on sonystyle

I see a few HD's on ebay for $720 shipped....

i looked around on the hd which i got today and if u go to setting Phone band there is a place that say umts band and under there u can pick 850/1900... doesnt get u on 3g though but it must be there for a reason.

on HTC, some of the guys on XDA managed to get US 3G band working by flashing some other HTC's ROM.
