Guest Master_Axe Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 Hey, whenever i write a message of any kind, i constantly bump the send button, and the phone ALWAYS sends the damn message without asking me. There a ways to force the phone to ask me? Im guessing not... anyways, thanks, Franz
Guest choihyun Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 i have this exact same problem when i type in landscape. i hope someone comes up with a solution as it is very annoying lol
Guest MoparShaha Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 Yup, this happens to me all the time as well.
Guest phantomguy1 Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 um..... this might be stupid and no disrespect in any way..... did you try turning your omnia upsidedown so that the screen flips..... then you dont have that problem.... enjoy!

We're not talking about the physical send button. It's the "Send" soft key. It's right next to the keys on the keyboard when typing in landscape mode. It's very easy to accidently hit it while composing an email or text.
Guest hansg Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 Me too, I bought VITO SMSchat, I think that many of Windows mobile software not are finger friendly. Hans
Guest X-t-r-e-m-e Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) My solution was to write the message first before adding a recipient. If it's empty it won't get send  Edited December 24, 2008 by X-t-r-e-m-e
Guest 3shirts Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 My solution was to write the message first before adding a recipient. If it's empty it won't get send  I do this too with new messages but when replying it is already filled in
Guest Master_Axe Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 wow, so this seems to be a real issue ^^, and no apparent solution... gotta be careful then =(.
Guest finaldestiny Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 There was a solution that I saw, which was to switch the top task bar with the bottom task bar which would then keep the send key way from the keyboard when typing. Not a real 'fix' of course but a solution of sorts. I don't use it because after 10 minutes it felt rather unnatural having them switched  Of course what we really need is a dialog box to pop up just like when we send an empty message, or as someone posted, send a message without a recipient. I don't see it as being terribly hard to create something to do this, seeing the complexity of some of the other programs that persons have created.
Guest finaldestiny Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) double post :/ sorry Edited December 24, 2008 by finaldestiny

Guest PsyM0nkey Posted December 26, 2008 Report Posted December 26, 2008 I fully support some sort of application that confirms sending of message. this exact thing happened to me and i already see it being an issue with more continuous use. Im no coder, so im wondering if it IS possible to rectify this problem with some external coding?
Guest jamiee Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 *bump* i have this problem too! i would be really happy if someone took the time to help us since im not the only one with this problem :)
Guest buffylig Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 hi to all.. :) someone know if it's possible to use mortscript to lock "send-options" buttons during smswriting?! ..mmm..like samsungLockDevice during calls I think :D ..
Guest Voltorr Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 hehe.... i know exactly what you guys are talking about, it's my biggest problem. This is my first pocket pc and while i love it it defiantly wasn't designed to be completely touch friendly. To make matters worse it isn't layed out for left handers, the scroll bar is extremely awquard :)

Guest Jokes On You Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 You could try using another SMS app like SMS Chat
Guest DangermaN Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 u could try using the samsung qwerty keyboard instead of the keypad if u accidentally keep pressing send cos of missing the backspace button, i changed to that cos i kept sending a half written msg when i wanted to erase something.
Guest kurniawan Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 it just needs to ask u first before sending, like: Are u sure u want message to be sent?... that's it!!!
