iris browser wont allow me to use keypad

hi guys,

i am now trying iris browser as it seems to render pages faster than opera.

i however noticed that i cannot use the samsung keypad with iris which is a hassle for me since i use the keypad for everything else.

i am obviously not used to using a qwerty keyboard for entries.

was wondering if anyone could solve this dilemma for me as a chrstmas gift hehe

Hmm the keyboard works fine for me.

Have you tried to go to System -> Personal tab -> Button and map one of the button to input to force the keyboard to come up? I did that for Pandora, no keyboard on it.

hi,

its not that the keypad doesnt pop-up. its just that it wont allow me to enter letters but will allow me to enter numbers and symbols ie. the upper middle button in the samsung keypad which allows you to type letters is grayed out

it also sometimes happens in certain sites like password entry in opera.

would any one know a workaround for iris browser/.
