Aux Audio and Battery Life issue!!

Recommended Posts

So I am trying to use my Omnia as an Ipod so to speak in the car while driving. I have a cd player with an aux input and I use it through the headphone jack. It works well with all types of MP3 Players but for some reason I can not get it to work with the Omnia. I tried WMP and Touch Player and neither one played any audio to the speakers. On the other hand when i went to call someone the ringing and audio came out of the speakers. Is there any way around this that you guys know of?

I also wanted to know if there was a way to turn off the broadband connection (not wifi) with a single click if I wanted to while at work or whatever seeing as I can get my email and everything else quickly and easily here. I do not need the battery being wasted.

Thanks,

-Brandon

Great news! I plan on getting my Omnia soon and will also be using it for this purpose. Am currently using a BB storm with this same function, but I notice that the volume is so LOOOOW when I connect it via AUX. How is the volume on the Omnia? I currently need to turn stereo AND phone volume to max to hear it while going on the highway.
