Help, please!! Omnia wont work

Hi

I recently received a Omnia for christmas which was locked to Vodafone. It has now been unlocked.

I have put my o2 sim in but the wap and mms wont work, i have got the settings from the 02 website but this still wont work.

Also i am struggling to get it to connect via activesync, it simply says synchronizing but doesnt change from that.

The system it is on is i900XXHHD/ACHH3 if this is any help!

Please help i love this phone, PDA and really want it to work!!

I'd update the ROM just to start from a fresh perspective.

I have tried to dthis however when you try and connect it to activesync is constantly says synchronizing and when you do the firmware upgrade it doesnt do anything you tick the boxes and thats it nothing happens.

I have the constant connecting problem when i plug it in my laptop using vista. I vas never able to replicate the problem on xp or my workstation PC so i don't know what is wrong. But i did notice that this happens if i plug my omnia when it's on standby so i just close active sync via task manager and unplug my omnia. Then i make sure that it's not on standby, open active sync and connect it again. It sometimes needs a minute but it connects then. If not just repeat the procedue. I don't know what is causing it but this works for me so i hope that it will work for you.

hi i think you have to change the settings on the phone so that active sync can be used on the computer go to Settings>USB to PC and then tick the box active sync should now work........i also had a vodaofne omnia and it was so slow and sluggish i then upgraded to Tarils custom Firmware which got rid off all the ugly vodafone logos i upgraded to this firmware.
