toggle 1x/evdo on i910?

Hi everyone,

I've read posts about toggling between edge and hspda on the gsm omnia. Can't seem to do the same on the verizon cdma omnia, as the "select band" option isn't available. Indeed, it appears verizon has locked out a number of menu entries in the "settings/phone" section.

Any ideas? It'd be nice to have the phone be in 1x mode when just walking around town, and be able to shift it into evdo when I want to browse. Should extend battery life a fair bit?

Would like to do this myself... thought I had a bad battery, but seems to be the continuous switching between 1x and EV mode that's killing the battery... happened on my old RAZR, forced it to 1x and battery was good for days.
