Hey people, first of all I love my Omnia, it's awesome.

However I wanted to try a new ROM.

I find myself unable to install one, though.

I've looked for several tuts and can't get it to work.

I do this;

I turn off the phone.

Run program

Put cable in the phone.

Turn on the phone.

Then the button remains greyed out.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

A few steps:

- Connect your cable

- Start the exe rom file

- Restart your phone

- Press the start button

- Pray to your favourite god (this last part is optional but i recommend it)

Simply don't try to flash ur ROM update on Vista.

I have my laptop with Vista and I have Windows XP desktop at office. I only flash my rom at office when I have free time.

never doing it with my own laptop.

I searched lots of articles before I tried flashing ROM first and there are lots of reports on problems when ppl updates using Vista.
