Guest David Cher Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 anyone used it yet? using now without much problem
Guest spike007 Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Whats new in hk3 then? Well I have been using it for a couple of days now. There is no major application additions except for the rolling dice game. However, I have found the phone to be much more reliable since the upgrade. I was having an issue of the phone locking up and had to take out the battery and restart, that seems to have been rectified. The touch screen works MUCH better and doesn't select items when scrolling through a list like the contacts. I have also found that battery life to be longer as well. My opinion is that the upgrade has sorted out several issues making the Omnia a better better devise. Well done Samsung

I had a small issue with not being able to connect to secured wifi connections, but I was able to fix that with a small registry edit. The dice thingy is stupid. I don't think DXHK3 is on the samsung website, I'm pretty sure that there's only DZHK3 which of course ads the chinese keyboard and a smaller available space left.

Guest dbsimms63 Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Under my ROM version it says V.BJ28.2027
Guest Echew Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 Would be nice if they did one for Verizon!
Guest hmenne Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 I would be happy if they come with an Scandinavian update. There haven't been any yet ! And the one we have is so full of bugs and misspells. Its embarrassing for samsung that they are so slow with the updates for the Scandinavian market . Mvh Henrik

Guest blackfjr Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Have upgraded to DXHK3, not able to add or delete contact from SIM card. Not sure what went wrong, try to revert back to DXHJ1 and see if problem persist.
