Hi everyone,

There's a way to configure the great Samsung Omnia to mute and stop the vibrate of an incoming call when we turn the phone face down? Right now if I turn it, it stops the ringtone, but the vibrate function keep going, maybe there's an entry on the registry?

Let me know.

Best regards.

:::EDIT:::

Searching around I saw that this option is calling Etiquette Pause in english, so there's a way to edit it on registry? Thanks.

Hello,

I've searched for etiquette entry through the registry and there are only two: one for sure is when you enable or disable (1 or 0 values) the option, the second entry I don't know what's about...anyone can help me or tell me that the option is that and can't be changed nor improved?

Let me know.

Best regards.

I seems that it's an interesting topic seen the visits, but maybe no one know if it's possible...

Using the feauter, if the phone is supposed to ring and vibrate putting it face down it will only vibrate, if it's on vibrate only settings it will keep vibrate once putted face down, and if it's on ring only settings it will turn on mute, then I think that the etiquette feature work only on audio, but since it doesn't touch the sound profile I think that would be easy for Samsung to add a setting that let the user select if vibrate or not, maybe in a future release...anyone know if it's possible to send advide to Samsung?

Best regards.

For the etiquette pause feature:

Go to Settings => System => Motion Sensor => Etiquette

Thanks for the answer.

I'm already using the etiquette feature, the only problem is that I'd like to disable both sound and vibration, but I haven't yet figured out how to do it.

maybe a mortscript to disable vibration as well? frome xperience is if you press one of the volume key when its ringing/vibe, it will stop both the ringtone and vibe.. so i suppose make a mortscript that does that when we turn the fone over when during a call??

Before i took my phone in to get the new digitiser installed and firmware updated. Whenever i was with a customer and my phone rung i could just grab my phone and slide it up my leg to mute the incoming call without rejecting the call. i also found out that it was the sliding up/down movement over the centre action key that caused the muting but i have lost this feature and it is a pain in the arse now as it doesn't do this feature anymore. Anyone know the reg changer for this? It was awesome doing this so quick and when you stnading up you can turn it over like i know someone will say about the etiquette feature. Any help much appreciated i have googled this but can't find anything on it i think i might have had the only phone that could do this.
