I use it on mine and it works as it should. It should be as simple as connecting your Omnia to your PC via USB, and then clicking connect on the Internet Sharing program. Make sure that the PC connection is set to USB and the Network Connection is set to your provider's WAP.

Also you may want to verify that the USB Connection Mode is correct. Go to Settings/Connection/USB Connection Mode, and make sure that it is set to Active Sync and NOT Mass Storage.

One more important item... make sure that you even have a data access plan with your cellular provider.

When you click on connect from the phone, does the phone show that it is connecting to GPRS? If it doesn't, then you'll want to make sure that your phone's WAP settings are correct. In Settings/Connections/Browser Connections, make sure that it is set to automatic. In GPRS Authentication, make sure that your carrier's WAP is in the list.

If this is all correct, then you may want to go into your PC's web browser and make sure that it to is also set to Automatically detect the connection.

Oh, and no need to call me Sir -- makes me feel old

One more thing that comes to mind is to look in Active Sync. Assuming you're using XP, and AS 4.5, connect your device and go to File/Connection Settings. Make sure that the box that says "Allow Wireless Connections When Device is Connected to USB" is enabled.

Sorry this reply took a while!

im using vista

Vista don't need active sync because it has windows mobile device center. But it needs drivers to connect to the internet via mobile phone.

Another question is that when you establish new connection vista always asks whether this connection secure or not. In second case vista may not work in the internet. So the problem may be with vista not with phone
