I got a Omnia I900 for which phone part stopped suddenly to work (after more than one year of working with no trouble), saying "no service", trying with a sim card from another operator, we could made a rapid call, which automated answer was that the phone was locked. Tried this unlock method just now and it's working great.

I admit I have flashed this phone more than usual but never touched the phone part of it. So how can a phone that worked perfectly with the same sim card for more than a year all suddenly locks it's network.

Without having yet tested it with a different carrier sim card, I get a "succesfully disabled locking status" at the end of the process on my i900 Cellcom - Israel

1. type *7465625*638*# to set

2. type your MCC/MNC code (list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code), e.g.26003 for Polish ORANGE

3. type your new NCK (12345678), then OK

3. type *#7465625 to check your lock

4. type #7465625*638*# and type your NCK (12345678)

5. enjoy.

from Polish pda site (http://pdaclub.pl/forum/index.php?topic=120622.0) for samsung i780, but it works also on my Omnia (DXHL2_LFI04a).

If you have a problem (like "Fail to Set Locking status"), change the ROM on the other (for example, as in my message, do not forget to backup), then work, then go back to the old ROM.

Hi, I'm new to Omnia and to this forum i'm having omnia i900 which i got as gift frm my frnd who lives in UK and the phone is made in Korea having Windows 6.1, and i'm using it in India since 3 years, on that time it was locked (Network Lock) and i gave it to some local service center to Unlock it and it was good after that. Now, 4 days before i was upgraded it to windows 6.5 (cooked ROM) but it is again asking me for lock code (Network Lock). What should i have to do???? kindly help me in this regards.......
