dont use googlemaps while driving

thats what i saw when i opened the "about" of my omnia google maps it said " dont use while driving"

so why is that? anyone could know perhaps?

plus is there any navigator i can use in my omnia that is free? thx

It's not meant that it doesn't work while you drive. All navigation software says don't drive and type and same sorts just to make sure if anything happens to you (car crash), it's not their fault.

so whats the use of it then if im not using it while driving? isnt it supposed to be made for navigating while driving?

No ofcourse not, why should they warn you otherwise....

Actually Google Maps isn't a navigation software, it is designed to show you maps and it has an additional function to tell you travel routes.

It is a way of covering themselves...like the warnings you will find in combination with for example microwaves...Caution, liquits my be hot or dont put your cat in the microwaves...its a way to cover themselves for idiots or people who would like to get money out of them...

About navigation software for free on your Omnia...you should know NOTHING on this planet is for free! Plenty of nav software for your Omnia but not freeware!
