Could a program dial a number without me knowing?

Hi all i seem to have a 0560 number that has been dialed from my phone tonight. which i didn't dial!! i have downloaded a couple of apps from this site which are SKtools, Googlemaps, coreplayer, W.V.D and smartgear. Do you think any of these could have dialed it? or have you ever heard of this happening before?
