Guest bobobird Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 - If you leave it enabled all the time it will cause your Omnia won't wake up sometime randomly so Please enable SRS only when you play music Then it is still 10% unfixed. hehe Thx
Guest gragra Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I have installed and tested it. Having errors messages and sound doesnt play out. Its either I'm doing something wrong or its simply not working. I guess you know the drill-backup before installing.
Guest pdaphonemaster Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 (edited) After many searchings on the net I finally found the solution to make SRS WOW HD 1.2.10 to work on Omnia i900. With this software your Omnia will sound louder, clearer, and better ever than before. Note - :( This cab file was tweaked to work on Omnia i900 only. - Please reset your Omnia after SRS installation - :( If you leave it enabled all the time it will cause your Omnia won't wake up sometime randomly so Please enable SRS only when you play music - :) I would recommend Core Player to be the best player This program does not work at all! Even worse, it can mess up with your phone settings. You can lose touch input altogether leaving you no choice but to hard reset. Basically, for this program to work, it needs to set default sound driver to the WOW xxxx .dll which is NOT compatible with Omnia at all. It works with HTC devices ( i know I checked!). Don't bother with this program if you do not wish to waste 2-3 days of your life reinstalling programs, etc. after hard reset. Edited January 6, 2009 by pdaphonemaster

I did that b4 with my Asus P535 and i coudn't get any sound to work.. Luckily after searching the web for a while i found a fix. Otherwise it would have to be a hard reset. AFAIK there is no work around for the OMNIA yet.
Guest rith Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Please try it first this one is the truely working one without needing to edit or change anything just install, reset and it's just working straight away. It's also safe to try if anything go wrong just uninstall it everything go back to normal. Try it yourself to believe it

I tried it on my Omnia which has standard UK firmware PDA: i900XXHJ4/MSHJ1 PHONE: i900XXHI5. There is no sound & the phone locks up when it goes to sleep. I realise you are trying to improve it, but it is not working for me. Hope this helps. EDIT: I tested it because I have nothing on the phone at the moment & so tried it again, the touch screen locked up and did not become active for 2 x soft resets, beware if you have lots of data on your phone, you may not be able to uninstall & therefore will have to hard reset. Guest Jack23 Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 I tried it and it killed my Omnia. I suspected it conflicts with Resco Audio Recoder. I could be wrong, anyways THE PROGRAM IS NOT TRUELY WORK ON EVERYONE'S OMNIA. It can killed your device.

Guest Omnia-Winker Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Just a warning. This nearly killed my Omnia. When it rebooted I had no sound, the touch screen was flakey and everytime the phone went into sleep it wouldnt resume!! removed and rebooted and working fine again!!! I will admit I nearly cried cos I thought the phone was dead!
Guest bpivk Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 I only had the no sound issue so i just removed it and reseted my device so no harm done.

Guest alvaroesc Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 If someone lose the touch screen after unnistall WOW, you don´t need a hard reset. Just take out the battery and it will work fine again. Any way, I recomend strongly make a backup before to install WOW.
Guest jeffrey2000 Posted March 25, 2009 Report Posted March 25, 2009 (edited) The sound is is great after install/reboot! it's just the power button that lost its functionality after. Hope this problem is solved soon. Edited March 25, 2009 by jeffrey2000

All I get is no sounfd and when I go to the wow settings no driver!
