Guest Funkadelic1 Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Hello everyone. I have been following the board for a while now and have flashed my phone several times. I turned my phone off one day and it wouldn't turn back on. Samsung said that it was a motherboard issue and since the phone was bought from Singapore I had to send it back there for repair or pay $200. I sent the phone back, they repaired it and sent it back to me. The phone works now, but the ROM they loaded is really slow on my phone. The current Phone and PDA are: Version PDA: i900DXHJ1/DZHJ1 Phone: i900DXHJ1 The phone boots fine and it syncs with my pc with no proble. I can copy files in install apps. If I plug in the usb cable and reset my phone for flashing the phone just sits on the Samsung Omnia (First Boot) Screen. If i pull the usb and reset the phone it boots up fine. I have to i900's and I just flashed the other phone from the same pc. I have also tried two other pc's. For some reason the phone willnot pass the bootloader if the usb is plugged in no matter if flashing or not. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it something they did when they repaired it? Thank you in advance for any help.
Guest Funkadelic1 Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 Just an update. I tried to flash the phone with Pauls original flashing guide with the hope it would reload the bootloader. I still end up with the same results. If the usb cable is plugged in while the phone is booting it will not pass the first Samsung Omnia logo. If I remove the usb and reboot the phone it boots all the way with no problem. I am open to any ideas at this point.
Guest Larsson Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 (edited) I am suffering from the same problem stuck at logo. This has been a problem since since I updated to DXHJ1. PDA: DXHJ1 Phone: DXHJ1 Is this a bootloader problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated Larsson Edited January 11, 2009 by Larsson

Guest Pete2 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 I don't know if it will help as your phones still get past the omnia splash screen but mine was stuck on it and I got over it using lufeig's rom from the thread below. http://www.modaco.com/content-page/277508/...20/#entry956905
Guest Larsson Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Thanks Pete but it does not matter what rom. For some reason it will not start up past start screen when connected by usb to pc. Starts fine when not connected, also starts fine when connected by charger. Have tried several pc's so is a phone problem. Only got this problem when I upgraded to this rom however. Larsson
