Guest giamgiam Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 hi.. i am on samsung omnia.. when i take pic wif my omnia camera, and use it as my wallpaper it does not fit perfectly, either it is too small(when i chose320x240) and i have 1 & a half of the same picture as my wallpaper or ..when i use the highest 2560x1960, it is way too big when displayed as wallpaper only part of the pic shows as a wallpaper on my Today screen.. PLEASE HELP ANYONE... how to make my camera pics as a perfect wallpaper for my OMNIA =] thnx

Guest wahkao1990 Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Use your media album application and scroll to the pix and "set as>wallpaper". You can choose the portion of pix you want and the brightness and contrast. Or you can photoshop your pix to 240x400.

Why don't you try it first? No offence but that is the easiest way to do it. There's no better way. One other way is to photoshop your photo to exactly the same resolution as your phone. When you take picture with Omnia, you take it as landscape, not portrait (screen) so obviously it wouldn't fit. Like I told you, try using media album, there will be a box and you can move the box around to choose the section of pix you want as your wallapaper if your pix doesnt fit nicely on the screen. Personally i photoshop my pix nicely to fit on my Omnia. Usually a few months before i switch so i reckon the photoshop effort is worth it. If you're still too lazy to use photoshop, i recommend you use the default wallpapers (which suck)
