Guest jwkk88 Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Hi, I need some help here with the dialed phone number display. Currently, the dialed digits are displayed as "(123)456-7890" which resembles the North America dialing format "Area code + phone number". It there a way to change that to a straight display without the blacket and dash? For example, it would simply display "1234567890". Since the blacket and the dask confuses me. Many thanks.
Guest Yunabeco Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 It's in Settings > System > Regional settings. The phone number display depends on the country set there (the device's locale), as far as I know. I don't think there's a way to set it manually though.
Guest melvynadam Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Excellent - thanks! Had been meaning to post about this for a while.
Guest jwkk88 Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 Thanks Yunabeco, it worked well. I've made change follow your instruction to "English (Australia)". Now the dialer display contiuous number. It solve my problem. Big thanks!
