Guest rith Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 (edited) I accidently found out the trick make backlight dim @ lower (battery saving) & lowest (useful when waching video in the dark) level 1.Lower backlight ( lower than lowest manual backlight) Set power option the same as attached image and wait for 10 seconds 2.Lowest backlight ( :) lower than above lower backlight setting) Change registry with the following: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\BackLight] "BatteryTimeout"=dword:00000000 "Brightness"=dword:00000000 Or import the attached .reg file into registry. :( I hope this tip will be useful for everybody here.0BackLight.reg.zip Edited January 12, 2009 by rith

Guest reds_dada_blue Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Finally. I found out this trick from u. thanks alot for sharing this. :)
Guest nasxsx Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Hmm, when I turn off backlight motion sensor stops working (screen doesn't rotate automatically). Is it normal or maybe a bug in my ROM version (SAHJ3)?
Guest reds_dada_blue Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Hmm, when I turn off backlight motion sensor stops working (screen doesn't rotate automatically). Is it normal or maybe a bug in my ROM version (SAHJ3)?No, it is working perfectly in my omnia. I use taril custom DXHL3 rom. I think you should check the motion sensor again. It is Automatically or Manual setting. :)
Guest nasxsx Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 (edited) So it must be ROM's fault. When I set backlight to turn off after i.e. 10s, screen doesn't rotate too when the backlight is off until I touch the screen or push a button. Then it rotates immediately.
