All the phones i've ever used had their screens light up whenever a BT device connected.

Well correct me if i'm wrong but BT and GPS don't work if you have your phone on standby so that's not really a bug.

Nope that is def. not true 'cause all my HTC went off connected with a BT-Handsfree. Even with my BT-Earplug the OMNIA goes off. The prob. is when the Omnia is connected to my BT in the car there is a constant data-transfert (signal strength, provider .....). It is def. a bug 'cause I'm not the only one who has this problem.

All the Samsungs I've ever had did this, I would consider it low on their priority list to change. Perhaps theres a reg hack or something.

Perhaps theres a reg hack or something. This would be great if a reg. hack exists to tell the Omnia to go in Standy even if there is a BT data-transfer
