Guest whitj Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 (edited) Hey guys, just got a new Omnia (loving it so far!) but I've hit a hiccup pretty early in the road... I've installed all the software given to me by verizon, but when access manager searches through all my COM ports looking to recognize the i910, it can't find it. Now in My computer it just shows up as "Mobile Device" with a generic looking symbol in the place of the i910. Anyone know how I can get it to read my phone and allow me to drag and drop onto it? Thanks! Edited January 7, 2009 by whitj
Guest ned4spd8874 Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 I had problems with the software that Verizon provided too. I ended up calling Samsung if I remember correctly and they pointed me to a link to download the software. I don't remember off hand where it was or what it was even called. I can check my computer when I get home and see if I can find something more detailed to help you. But you might want to call Samsung and see what they have to say.

Guest Pete2 Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 You should try going start/settings/connections/USB to PC and un-check the box "Enable advanced network functionality".
