M2D landscape mode problem

I'm using Passoa's M2D rom and i'm having an odd problem.

The landscape buttons just wanished and i'm stuck with an empty screen. I don't know what caused it because i've installed a lot of apps so it could be that (but i doubt it) or it could be the fact that i removed the start shortcuts (via Settings/Menus). Has anyone experienced this or knows what's going on? It's not that big of an issue but i'd just like to know what happend.

P.S.: I have rebooted and shut down my phone and it didn't work.

P.P.S.: I'm using rotation service from qbus not the default mort script and i haven touched it so it shouldn't act up.
