Bluetooth functionality disappeared

Yesterday I took my phone out of my pocket and there was a notification asking me if I wanted to accept a file called 'add.gif' - I said no as I'd no idea what it was. However, since then the Bluetooth option has disappeared from the 'Wireless Manager' screen and if I try to turn on Bluetooth from the System Settings page, it doesn't work - I can check the boxes and hit OK, but when I go back into the Bluetooth link, the boxes are unchecked again.

Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas how to fix it? Have I been the victim of some Bluetooth attack?

I'm running Secany's DXHI3 ROM and have been for many months without problems.
