Help With The Omnia

Hi everyone, I am looking to buy an Omnia but after reading all the horror stories with qualcom gps chip I am concerned it may not work for what I want it to do.

I currently have a SIRF 3 chipset in a PDA and I disable static navigation so I can geo cache at low speeds and it works fine.

Can anyone advise whether the omnia has a similiar option to disable static navigation to enable gps tracking at slow speeds or not?

If not can anyone recommend a good device with similar specs?
