Important Upgrades in the Omnia

As a user who have been using the HTC devices for 4 years before the Omnia, here are some issues that I think needs to be addressed in the Omnia (I have searched the whole forum without clear answers):

1. Change the Tackpad browsing in Internet Explorer from link down to link TO scrolling the page down or up, A cab file may do this job

2. There are 10 different input methods (keyboards,keypads..etc) in the Omnia and the user only use 2-3, anyway to delete the unused ones?

3. Anyway to add a button to switch the Bluetooth on/off with one click only in the today screen? (in SPB PLUSfor example) ?

Awaiting your valuable inputs and share of knowledge  :)

those are minor software fixes (2 is a registry trick, and 3 can be done so many ways).

important upgrades would be:

. dpad instead of the optical pad

. mini-usb and 3,5mm mini-jack plugs (perhaps it can be partially solved with this: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...new-accessory/)

. wvga, especially for tv-out (is it done for tv-out in t-omnia ?)

. higher CPU speed (done in t-omnia)

that would make the device perfect

Photos into dated directories similar to the Nokias

that would be interesting indeed.

maybe there is a desktop-side soft to do that afterwards ?

@q8doctor:

2. google "remove sip windows mobile"

3. look for HS++, AEButton plus or bluetooth toggle

1. A profile icon for quick access to change ringer settings. Preferably that can add an alarm feature too so that settings come into play at certain times during the work week or when ever.

2. A way to add multiple contacts to an SMS message like with MMS.

3. A better, more intuitive and functional Touch Player. And one where ALL of your album info shows up. Geez. I like it better than WM Player.

4. The ability to modify ALL icons on the Samsung today 1 theme. Phone and main menu are already at the bottom. To have them as icons as well is beyond redundant.

For #2 - SK-tools does a great job to delete ones not needed, and you can also change the default input method.

Install Manila 2D and a lot of these problems will be solved. Plus it looks GREAT.
