GPS newbi question

I just gotten my HTC diamond and would like to use its GPS functions to get simple coordinate how do i go about doing that. The Manuel that came with the phone doesn't explain this. :rolleyes:

Phone HTC Touch Diamond

PRL Verison 60088EVDO

ROM version: 1.09.651.5

Model: DIAM500

Ideally i would like to use it with Google earth.
