Guest futureboycolin Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 I've been using SPB mobileshell for about a month now, and I'm not entirely happy with it. It's nice that it replaces the today screen, but as far as the rest of the WM experience goes - it's still the same old boring, designed-for-stylus OS. how does Wisbar compare? Futureboy
Guest mobilehappy Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 (edited) WishBar Advanced Desktop (WAD2) is both the same and quite different than SPB Mobile Shell. If you just use WAD2 as its set-up default, it works in mostly the same way as SPB Mobile Shell and just replaces the default Today screen. But if you use the configuration possibilities in WAD2 you can create a more complete inteface replacing most of the default windows functions with more easily accessible and finger friendly set-ups. (Even more so if you combine it with WishBar Advanced3) But SPB Mobile Shell is easier to use since its more or less finished configured when you install it while with WAD2 you will have to do a lot of configurations yourself. You can read more about WAD2 here >> Edited January 9, 2009 by mobilehappy
