Battery Life with Widgets vs. Today 1 or 2

Has anyone noticed a difference in battery life when you use the Samsung Widgets vs. either Samsung Today or Samsung Today 2?

I've been getting great battery life with my i910, but I used Widgets for a few days and started having battery warnings at around 5pm. I switched back to Samsung Today, and I'm still at over 50% at 11:15. This is pretty typical of what I was getting before Widgets. Nothing else changed in my usage patterns.

Anyone else?
