Guest eilsoe Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 This is getting to me... really... 1 in 10 times my keys permanently locks when I try to unlock ;) I have to remove the battery every time to unlock it again...! Any others out there experiencing the same?
Guest madu Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Have you applied DK update? Uncertified? What extra soft are you running? What are the timeout values screensaver/homescreen?
Guest eilsoe Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Dk update yes. Certified. xtra softs, no. timeouts.. uhh.. lemme check...
Guest Lojt Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 I get that when recieving an SMS. Its a known bug.
Guest eilsoe Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 D r sqda irriterende!!! this phone is SO close to getting a free trip out the window!
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I am getting this on my updated phone... grr! I sometimes lose the SMS too! P PS Why do I have a load of messages when I do 'Import from SIM' that I have never seen before? Double Grr!
Guest Noah Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 ...if i receive a message whilst my phone is booting up something weird happens... the phone displays the home screen but the Programs & Contacts menus are replaced with the menus associated with the mail program, (New & Menu) and the phone is totally unresponsive. The only to get back to a proper home screen is to power down and re start :x anyone else get this. BTW this is after using the DK upgrade
Guest Lojt Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I sometimes lose the SMS too! I have lost a couple sms's too  And Paul, that sim-card bug is mentioned in another thread somewhere ;)
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 Paul: that's a known problem ;p. I have it too once, didn't receive a single sms for 24 hours and was getting moaned at for not replying. I phoned up OCS and had a moan and they sent me some SIM update sms's, resarting after these then brought through my last few test messages. 2 days later i was reading on here about the import from SIM problem, tried it and guess where those elusive sms's had got to...:/ Phoned up OCS again and complained, but as far as they were concerned as it was working now there was nothing more they could do (not even put me in contact with their tech-team ;)). I pointed out it had happened spontaniously the first time but this had no effect:/. Either way i requested a note on my record now for that call so I have some backup if the problem occurs again...
