DK Update - Weird Menu Problem - Missing Captions

Hi. I applied the DK update to my brother-in-laws SPV. All appeared to flash OK. Except when we browse the menus, all the captions appear to have disappeared from the sub-menus although the options are still visible. For example, viewing the "Sounds" sub menu in "Settings" lists all the options but omits the captions for each, i.e "Ring Tone for Line 1, Ring Tone for Line 2" etc. This makes setting options very difficult because you can't tell which one is which (except from memory!). All sub menus have the same bug.

I successfully managed to flash my own SPV without a hitch, so I have no reason to doubt the download. All the "About" version numbers appear consistent with my phone, except again it doesn't display "Operator 1.3.3.22" but "(null) 1.3.3.22".

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I'm tempted to try re-flashing the phone again. It seems to work perfectly well except for the lack of menu captions. Just wondered if there is something I've overlooked.

Try to restart, and if that doesn't help, do a hard reset.

You were correct... I performed an Erase IPSM and hard reset the phone and the missing menu captions were restored. Thank you.
