Guest PsyM0nkey Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 Hey all, I went to www.gmail.com/app to download the java Gmail application for my phone. Just because it is nice and neat (compared to windows mobile interface) and i just like it... Anyways, so I install it and when I run it, it asks me 4 options about connecting to the internet/network..: 1) Allow for this session 2) Allow and ask me next time 3) Dont allow this time 4) Dont allow for this session So I choose the first option, allow this session, it then connects and downloads my e-mail. Then when I choose 'refresh', or when it does an automatic refresh, it takes me back to the sign in page. I have had this application on a previous phone, and I have never had to sign in after the first ever time. and it never logged me off automatically when checking new e-mail. Has anybody had this problem with the Gmail app? For some reason i think its because in the network options above, it doesnt have an option to 'Allow always'. If that is the case, does anybody know a work around for this? Any help appreciated! Thanks!
