Guest twentyone Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Hi guys, basically I've been playing with MS Voice command but the one issue I have is that I want to map the hands free button to act as the VOICE COMMAND button - as it is I need to press a button on the handset in order to use it, and is is very awkward when snowboarding/riding a bike since the phone is tucked safely in my clothes. I would appreciate any comment on these since I can't seem to find a way to do it. Have a nice day all of you !

Guest Blobs Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Are you using MS Voice Command on the i900 as on the Handango site it says it's not compatible?
Guest krelvinaz Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 If he is using the Omnia i910 it is compatible. Works fine.
Guest twentyone Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 I have i900 and voice commands 1.6 is working fine, but the button on the original wired nadsfree opens samsung dialer, and I would like it to activate the voice command.

Do you have full 2 way commands from the start with bluetooth though?
Guest twentyone Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Do you have full 2 way commands from the start with bluetooth though? NO, as I stated eaalier I am talking about the original wired handsfree. With bluetooth set the issue is known - the button of the bluetooth atually activates voice command(the behavior I want for my device) but the microfon is not activated.

Hi, thanks for this tip - I will try it out. It is not ideal for what i want, but could work as a workaround :) Cheers

The microphone isn't activated? It seems to work fine while I'm in my car and I can't imagine the microphone on the phone is able to pick up my voice all the way in the cup holder or when the phone is still on my belt.
