Guest Blobs Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 Hi.. can anyone help me how to retrieve back my WiFi tab that has gone missing from the wireless manager?? Guest somedude Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 If you have your sync cable connected it will disappear. Remove the cable and it will come back. ^^If that doesnt work(it didnt work for me) you may just have to hard reset. I had this had happen to me before and a hard reset was the only thing that worked.
Guest dhoppy Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 ^^If that doesnt work(it didnt work for me) you may just have to hard reset. I had this had happen to me before and a hard reset was the only thing that worked. Happened to me also, with an i910. I wonder if it was related to that wifirouter program I had installed. I did a hard reset, but would be interested if anyone else has a better solution. thanks.
Guest Mr. B! Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 (edited) Bump This just happened to me as well. Anyone know why the wifi option dissapears in the first place? EDIT: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...ck/#entry958961 Just found the above topic which was similar with some solutions. Edited January 16, 2009 by Mr. B!

Mr B, your reply in the other thread that said : This happened to me as well. Can't say for sure what caused it, but I did the WMWifirouter Crash Cleanup, turned the phone off and then back on and it was restored. did the trick for me. I knew it had to have something to do with the WiFiRouter, but I forgot that there was a crash cleanup program that came with it. Many thanks for the post. It fixed me right up. AON. Guest Omnian Posted March 6, 2009 Report Posted March 6, 2009 Go to \windows and launch WlanLoader.exe. Then choose Load. I'm guessing, when Omnia starts up, it loads this driver. If this driver is "unloaded", the Wifi link will disappear.
Guest SPiVs Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 Go to \windows and launch WlanLoader.exe. Then choose Load. I'm guessing, when Omnia starts up, it loads this driver. If this driver is "unloaded", the Wifi link will disappear. This was the only sollution that worked for me. Do you know if I will have to do this after every soft reset or does it load it for good now? Thanks
Guest Gnivler Posted November 1, 2010 Report Posted November 1, 2010 Go to \windows and launch WlanLoader.exe. Then choose Load. I'm guessing, when Omnia starts up, it loads this driver. If this driver is "unloaded", the Wifi link will disappear. Thanks, this also worked for me on my Bell i910. Although the driver was already loaded to begin with, unloading then reloading made the Wifi option appear again under Wireless Manager. I think this may have had something to do with Wifi Monster, which I tried but then removed.
