Guest samy1 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Hi, may I ask somebody to run the LCD test (*#0*#) and then tap on touch and then use the stylus to test the top right corner? I've got my Omnia today and when I run this test I can see that wherever I tap on the top right corner then only one pixel gets active (change color), as if there is an area that is insensitive? Thanks
Guest lastnikita Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 didn't try yet, but my screen corners are less sensitive than the rest.
Guest sztupy Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 (edited) Hi, may I ask somebody to run the LCD test (*#0*#) and then tap on touch and then use the stylus to test the top right corner? I've got my Omnia today and when I run this test I can see that wherever I tap on the top right corner then only one pixel gets active (change color), as if there is an area that is insensitive? Thanks For me this seems more like a "feature" than a "bug". The top right corner is always mapped to the "X" button, so no matter what you press there it will always be the center of the "X" button. I found a workaround (accidentally) for this: you have to use a ROM which has an updated SYS/XIP (so not the omnia 20270 one). Tried with a 20757 and a 20954 version, and it doesn't have this "feature" This "feature" is only annoying btw whn you are playing full screen games, and you have to click in the top right corner for something (like in TTDX) Edited January 13, 2009 by sztupy
Guest lastnikita Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 well, could be true if there wasn't a landscape mode..
