I have a VZW i910 and was wondering if anyone has found a better browser to use that IE or Opera??

Both of these are useless why trying to use hulu.com or sirius online.

Thanks

Opera Mobile is pretty much cream of the crop right now.

I'm playing around with Netfront now... interesting... Rendering is not very font similar but it is fast.

I use Opera most of the time. some sites work better with PIE though... don't think there is a single tool.

I agree there isnt one that rules over all. I prefer Opera but doesnt work well with TouchResponse :)

If you want to listen to Sirius on your phone, download StarPlayr for Windows Mobile. It works great.

IMHO Iris Browser is the best browser for WM. I was jealous about two things about iPhone:

1- Its magnificent screen, wider and more vivid.

2- Its browser Safari, which is built on the same engine like Iris.

Now I eliminated the second one :) Here is my comparison notes on this:

+ Better clicking behavior than Opera. You must click 1-2 seconds on links and buttons. This helps to prevent accidental clicking which really annoys me while using Opera. Additionally shows a nice animation on where you clicked.

+ Better and richer "settings" menu.

+ Supports private browsing and mouse mode

- Does not support flash sites

Now I set Iris as the default browser and I'll only use Opera for flash sites. Please do not forget Iris is in its beta stage and I think it will be better in the future releases.

Recently I've being using NetFront WebBrowser 3.5

(You can find the concept, and also unlimited time version if you'd google).

It's not perfect with flash sites... but it gives a good presentation of web pages that are for desktop browsers.

They have different JIT layouters that you can control and show some pages fit on screen and some layouted on virtual resolutions of 768x1024 and etc..

Do you think Chrome Mobile will be available for phones other than the Android phones?

I saw a demo of the Chrome mobile on the G1, and it looked rather good...

Skyfire looks promising, but so far it does not support the omnia resolution (or the Touch HD for that matter - 100% fail rate in my tests :) ).

My current favorite is IE6 (in desktop mode) in terms of supported pages.

Opera on the i910 is so much better than IE. Have not looked at anything else yet.
