Guest rokster12 Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 i have installed manila2d. with a registry change, i managed to change the default contact application. from msoutlook to seccontact.exe. the samsung contact app. so when i'm clicking on "all contacts" seccontact.exe opens. when i'm clicking on a picture of a added contact. i get the standard detail contact view of windows mobile. when im opening a contact over seccontact.exe i get the "samsung view" of this contact. is it possible somehow to get this kind of view by clicking on a contact picture of manila2d?
Guest feis Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Yes! I know its possible, because before hard reset, everything worked the way u wrote. At that time i did some registry changes or something like that and it helped, but now i cant get it back :)

Guest 3shirts Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) Yeah I'd like to know this too. The samsung style is much nicer. We need to find out what is called by pressing the contact picture in Manilla and edit it to call SECContact.exe. Not sure how to proceed though Edited January 20, 2009 by 3shirts

Guest rokster12 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Nope, just wanna change it to seccontacts, looked for the key for about 20 mins then gave up changing hkey local machine/software/microsoft/shell/rai/MScontacts has this effect. the value of key 1 is something like msoutlook.... change this to seccontact.exe. still couldn't find out which process is started by clicking on a photo. or which registry key to change.
