Guest dwallersv Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 I installed sztupy's all-in-one Manila2D package to try the TouchFlo interface out. I like it. However, I'm having a problem with the backlight. The autosensing works fine, as well as manual adjustment, until the device sleeps. After that, it wakes up in minimum brightness, and can not be adjusted brighter either by the autosensing or manual adjustment. Searched the forum but could not find anything on this (which scares me :) ) Anyone have any clue what's going on? Specifics: Verizon i910 Did not hard reset and install clean Had SPB Shell and SPB PocketPlus installed; uninstalled these to see if they were the problem; still have the problem About 13MB of free storage space, so that's not the issue. Any clues? I'd rather not have to hard reset and do a clean install if I don't have to. Thanks!

Settings > System > Power > Battery or External Power > Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped I thought I did... got frustrated and backed up with SPBBackup, and hard reset. I'll restore and see if that's the problem -- easier than reloading everything, re-hacking, etc. etc.
Guest sys_error Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 I'm using Manila 2D 19b all-in-one with QBUS's clean rom with 85MB free storage memory after i installed all my apps, i dont face the backlight issue. You can try hard reset & reinstall M2D to test it 1st before you restore from backup.

Settings > System > Power > Battery or External Power > Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped That was it! Saved me having to retweak the phone, which would have been a real PITA. You rock, dude! How I turned that off is a mystery, but I'm not going to break my brain trying to remember... :)
