Awesome sector, glad you've turned around :excl: O wait its been released :excl:

Just wondering, is flashing it without the phone part any different? I'm a little unsure what the different parts do in a rom.

Cheers,

Bismar

Hi Sector

All of us are so excited for a new ROM with SPB 3.

I think that since the vast majority are using WM 6.1 it will be better to start with this OS version

Thank you so much for your great work. Its highly appreciated by everyone!!!

You can dis-assemble the ROM if you want :excl:. Get i900EXEcutor from Pako777 (google it, v1.5 at least)..

just click dis-assemble exe tab, point it the ROM and it spit it out for you...

rebuild it with assemble tab without the phonepart.

If you really want to.

Oh, you can trust these builds bro from sector too..:excl:

With my device it slows down a little, especially when im on batery power. It gets a little worse if u are playing some music with bt headset but i think its worth to try.Im very happy with this latest release and im planing to settle down a bit for some time. :excl:

Keep getting Mortscript messege in the beginning and spb mobile shell does not start automatically.

you have to update the weather panel to stop getting it.

copy executable shortcut to startup.

i had to manually modify the installation to work.

v4 works great!

had to go into settings > system > finger mouse > 4-way navigation and select that option before d-pad action press started working. Other than that great out of the box experience.

One strange thing though is that I haven't seen the new honeycomb menus anywhere, just the original side-by-side icons. Also have 3 different types of today screens is kind of weird: 1. windows today screen 2. windows 6.5 today screen 3. spb mobile shell today screen.

I think the MSN widgets should be removed, they are slow, have bad UI and don't add anything (like MSN weather, we already have weather in 6.5 homescreen AND spb mobile shell).

I'm still on HJ1 phone rom, should / can I update that too?

Hi Sector,

Just about to flash your new SPB ROM (I knew you would do one as soon as it was released :excl:)

One question: for customisation of preferred apps (eg SMS-Chat instead of WM6.5 threads, ThumbCal instead of SPB diary, etc), is it a good idea to use VJBrisk?

Do you have any experience using VJBrisk? If it works, maybe you could cook a ROM with a user set-up that allows the user to set the apps he wants to use the first time the ROM is installed, and writes the VJBrisk scripts automatically once the user has pointed to the correct exe in the correct folder. Just an idea......??
