Quick question about rom's

Hi guys,

Im new to the Samsung omnia, but have been flashing modded roms to my old HTC TyTn 100's of times!

I just want to know if there is a fail safe way of flashing the i900 yet? Like the HTC TyTn and most of the HTC phones had HardSPL to protect or prevent you from a bricked phone?!

I really would like to start and play around with some roms but dont want to brick my phone!

Also, i am from South Africa and my phone version is:

PDA : i900XXHH1/JBHH1 (Vodacom provider)

Phone: i900BUHH1

Will the CLEAN DXHL2 ROM *Updated Jan-03-2009* LuFeIg's LFI04d work on my phone without making it a brick?

Im basicly looking for a nice clean rom with no weird added things, just the basics! Clean rom, update .NetCF3.5 with allot of ram and program storage available.. I want to install all the rest myself.

Can anyone help or just point me in the right direction! I hope to get into flashing some of nice roms the chefs have prepaired on here..
