Guest dwallersv Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 The problem: I have a nice variety of places to send audio when enjoying media, but seemingly no way to control where it goes easily. I got a Plantronics Voyager 855 A2DP stereo BT headset, which is a fully integrated hands-free call device as well. When this is on, all stereo audio goes to it whether I plug in the wired headset or not. This is a problem when driving, and I want to use both the BT headset for calls, but my cassete adapter to listen to music from my Omnia as an mp3 player over my car stereo. I have to go into BT profiles and disable the Stereo Audio profile for the 855 to force it to send the audio to the speaker or the wired headset. Is there an easier way to do this? Ideally, some simple app that has radio buttons on it for each output device (speaker, headset, BT). Best would be some sort of little applet that enhanced the volume icon control to provide these redirection options from any application. Anything out there to help? Thanks!
Guest lastnikita Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 you can use HS++ it can display a BT icon in the tray bar, which can enable/disable A2DP in 2 clicks.
