Hi, I've been using various roms from this forum lateley and I like the LITE versions very very much!

A couple of my friends and family now also have Omnia and don't like the standard software it comes with! I showed them my Omnia with a lightweight ROM to which I've added Manilla and only the applications I like or need! Resulting in a much faster phone, more responsive and more free space for other things! Now the only "problem" is that these are all English. Now I was thinking, when I bought this phone it was in English and I had to download a MLI file to make it Dutch. When reflashing with custom ROM it became English again, not really a problem for me.

But me friends and family would also like a custom lite rom but they would prefer Dutch language. Would it be possible to flash to a custom ROM and then add Dutch language with an MLI file? Or do I have to cook my own rom starting from a Dutch original Samsung rom ?

You'll have to start cooking from a dutch rom. The big advantage of belgian roms is that you can change the language. French, dutch or english.

The custom roms you are talking about are usually based on the DX roms which only have English as possible language.

I would say, cook your own rom or try to find a lite duth rom.
