Guest PuijkeN Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 Hi, I've been using various roms from this forum lateley and I like the LITE versions very very much! A couple of my friends and family now also have Omnia and don't like the standard software it comes with! I showed them my Omnia with a lightweight ROM to which I've added Manilla and only the applications I like or need! Resulting in a much faster phone, more responsive and more free space for other things! Now the only "problem" is that these are all English. Now I was thinking, when I bought this phone it was in English and I had to download a MLI file to make it Dutch. When reflashing with custom ROM it became English again, not really a problem for me. But me friends and family would also like a custom lite rom but they would prefer Dutch language. Would it be possible to flash to a custom ROM and then add Dutch language with an MLI file? Or do I have to cook my own rom starting from a Dutch original Samsung rom ?

French, dutch or english. The custom roms you are talking about are usually based on the DX roms which only have English as possible language. I would say, cook your own rom or try to find a lite duth rom.
